Writing Sex- A One Night Stand

Pssst—your characters have sex. But is their sex germane to your story? In Writing Sex, a one-night workshop at StoryStudio Chicago, you will discover the answer to that question and more.

Through writing prompts, readings, lecture and discussion, we will create literarily relevant sex scenes for new or in-progress stories.

You will get tips for:

• creating well-paced sex scenes;

• making efficient language choices; and

• techniques for shedding writing inhibitions.

You should walk away from this single-session class with the confidence to put what you’ve learned into practice! On the page, of course.
